Suite Studios is a platform designed for modern post-production teams — offering real-time collaboration, lag-free editing, and cloud-powered storage to simplify complex workflows. It gives production companies the ability to instantly share files and scale editing workstations without sacrificing performance.

Translating Design Into Real, Responsive Interfaces

At Suite Studios, my main focus was turning high-fidelity UI/UX designs into production-ready React components. I worked closely with designers to ensure the implementation was pixel-perfect, responsive across breakpoints, and aligned with the platform's modern, minimal aesthetic.

I used Material-UI for the component base and customized it where needed to stay true to the design system.

Clean Architecture & Front-End Best Practices

Beyond the visuals, I structured the app using atomic design principles, organizing UI components into scalable, reusable patterns. I prioritized clean, readable code — consistently documented and tested using:

• Jest and React Testing Library for unit and integration tests
• Cypress for end-to-end testing
• Storybook to build and preview components in isolation

These tools helped keep our UI consistent and made it easier to onboard teammates into the codebase.

Final Thoughts

Working on Suite Studios was a solid example of taking design-led development seriously — not just building things that work, but building them the right way. I had the chance to contribute to a platform that demands high performance and reliability, while also leveling up my skills around component architecture, testing strategies, and cross-team collaboration.

It also reinforced how important good tooling is when you're scaling a front-end: Storybook, Cypress, and strong component patterns made it easier to build confidently and move fast without breaking things.
